Circa 1920/1930s Art Deco Lamp with Marble Base and Original Globe
Circa 1920/1930s Art Deco Lamp with Marble Base. This is a circa 1920s/1930s art deco lamp known to be manufactured by J. Hirsch Gerdago, and possibly other companies, after “Daneuse des Indies” by Ignacio Gallo. The lamp is in good working order electrically, and lights up as intended. No large/significant conditional flaws are noted upon visual inspection of the photos, and none reported. There are chips to the paint on the dancing pixie and the bulb base as commensurate with and to be expected from age and use. The main base is in good condition with no significant flaws noted. Appears to be a hairline crack on the ankle. Doesn’t appear to go all the way through nor does it appear to have been fixed. Glass sphere is perfect. No major flaws outside of paint chips on the figure. Ball is in excellent condition. Base measures 10″ x 4 1/4″. Approx 8.5 tall.
