Vintage Art Deco Extremely Rare Egyptian Revival Germany Perfume Lamp C. 1920
Fine Arts, Antiques and Collectibles. This is an extremely rare and original piece from the Germany Art Deco era, C1920. Its an unusual Egyptian Revival bronze and gold finished cast metal figural perfume lamp. The lamp depicting three ibis bird holding a heavy reticulated metal shade with lid, inside on top has the brass pull-out perfume reservoir. Height: 10 (25.4cm). Base diameter: 5 (15cm). Very good condition, all original without missing parts. The patina is somewhat scratched and lost by use and years. The lid knob is somewhat bent. The lamp is in working order with it original porcelain socket lamp, bakelite switch and plug.
