Handel vintage art deco lamp with reverse painted forest stream shade
This is a beautiful vintage Handel table lamp with a reverse painted shade. The lamp has a flared base with two sockets and bulbs. The base has a dark brown metal color or patina. The shade is painted with forest and stream scenes in vivid colors. It has a Handel label on the bottom of the based on the green felt pad. The lamp is 22 1/2″ tall to the top of the finial and the shade is 16″ across and 6 1/2 high. We always recommend that lamps be re-wired for everyday use. There are some missing paint spots on the inside of the shade. Please see photos, The top plate under the finial, that the shade rests on, may not be original to the lamp.
