On offer this week is an exceptionally hard to find signed art deco figure with a lighting element. This figure is signed FAYRAL, which is a pseudonym that some of the more famous sculptures of the 1920s and 1930s used when releasing some of their work and this piece is either by the French artist Pierre Le Faguays or Max Le Verrier, Circa late 1920s or early 1930s. A stunning piece that would be the jewel of any art deco collection, this figure is holding a glass vessel above her head, which is electrified and glows warmly like an ember. The glass vessel itself is signed art glass and reads Daum, Nancy, France. The signature on the small vase is difficult to make out without using a bright light but is present and is located at the bottom of the vessel on the back side. The marble base is chipped in one corner that faces towards the back side. See pictures for details. This piece is 16.5 inches tall, as measured from the bottom of the marble base to the top of the Daum urn. The marble base on its own is 8.75 inches long by 5.66 inches wide and is 1.5 inches tall.
