Offering here an antique cold painted metal (spelter or cast iron) 4 panel curved slag glass electric lamp. Non working – needs to be re-wired and does not have a plug in. Approximately 15 tall without the finial. Cold-painting was a technique popular during the art deco period in the 1920s. Bronze figures, cast iron and spelter were covered with enamel paint and resulted with beautifully colored figurines or lamps such as this piece. Dont use metal polish or any chemical cleaner on it because the paint chips easily. Just dust or wipe with a damp cloth. No chips, cracks, repairs or other issues with the slag glass panels.
