1920s Antique Vintage True Art Deco Nude Woman Girl Lamp Shade Frankart Style
Great Art Deco lamp of a nude young woman from the 1920’s with undamaged shade probably from the 40’s or 50’s. Lamp is in very nice condition as seen in the images. It is made of spelter and is signed on the edge of the base Co. 1922, I’m assuming the year of manufacture. All original to include the socket and switch, the former owner added a removable (screw in) socket extender to lift the height of the shade. There are some traces of pale green paint on the figure, the former owner must have removed the paint when it started to wear away or chip off. I like the aluminum look myself, more of an industrial look balanced by her delicate form. Base to socket measures. 14″ tall and measures 18 1/2″ tall with the shade. Shade is 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ wide.
