Here we have an Art Deco Machine Age Table Lamp with milk glass domed globe shade. An original lamp with a great make up and use of materials. The lamp has a round stepped wooden base with its original finish. The column is made up of polished alloy and black Lucite discs with a double tapering shape. The shade is white cased glass held in a three screw gallery, this is a replacement due to the original gallery was brittle and beyond use. The lamp is fitted with a modern chromed Brass switched earthed bulb holder and earthed modern wiring. The lamp works perfectly. Condition is Very good for age, it is in used condition with just a few very small marks and the odd mark in the finish. Overall condition is original there are marks and general signs of use. There are signs of forming and manufacture and some fine finishing marks. The glass lampshade has one manufacturing mark as shown but is free of damage. Overall Height is 39.5 Cm and the lamp is 14.5 Cm Diameter at base.
