Vintage ART DECO Metal Industrial Desk Table Lamp Saucer Shade Machine Age
Vintage 1940’s aluminum art deco style desk lamp, with its original paint (a great shade of green), and original art deco style finial. The cord and plug look newer and are in good condition. There is a metal piece that directs the light down toward your table top for a really nice effect. It lifts off the screw that holds finial. The lamp stands about 13.5″ tall and the shade is 10.75″ wide. The base is 5.5 across. Condition: Overall very nice, with age related wear to be expected. NO dings or dents. A small patch of surface rust on shade. A few light scratches. The base has some discoloration to the paint, as if someone sprayed something on it and it lightened the paint where it hit. Its mostly toward one side. You may spray it, of course, if it would suit you better. Just a really sweet lamp! NOTE: The paint color on the shade and the base is identical.
