A REALLY EXCELLENT ORIGINAL 1930s FRENCH ART DECO OPALINE GLASS TORPEDO SKYSCRAPER DESIGN CEILING LIGHT The glass shade itself measures 10″ long and 7.25″ wide (max) ; together with the fixed chrome wiring tube and ceiling fittings, the total drop measures 23 (this could obviously be increased or reduced by replacing the chrome tube with a different length) Consists of a spectacular cream ribbed opaline glass torpedo shaped shade perhaps influenced by details on the Chrysler Building skyscraper together with stepped polished aluminium gallery fittings etc. Note: The shade could also be used the other way round and utilised with a base and gallery to make to a spectacular table lamp. Really stunning when light… Perfect for any authentic Deco room It is all in excellent original condition, with no damages.
