SUPERB Z shaped CHROME MODERNIST ART DECO LAMP LAMPE RARE CZECH STAR SHADE
A Very striking “Z” shaped chrome modernist lamp that is Oh so Deco! A real RARE SHAPED LAMP. I will let the photos of this lamp do the talking. Photos form part of the listings description. Please study photos to ascertain condition etc. This is a genuine quality vintage lamp from the DECO age of the thirties. Chrome in good/fair condition for an item in excess of 75 years old. Please see photos to make your evaluation of condition. Consumerate wear attributed to lamps age. Shows its a vintage item. Please note hole on base. This I think was lamps original wire entry but I guess it was differcult to rewire when was done last so a new hole was made to facilitate easier wiring. Does not in any way distract from lamps beauty. Shade in excellent condition. A rare harder to find multi pointed Czech star shade that married up with the Z shape looks fab! It is “OH SO DECO” FABULOUS! This lamp stands 19 inches to the top of the shade & 6 x 3 inches at the base. This lamp will be completly rewired to BSI standards, with 3 amp wiring, fuse, & earthed. On/ off switch to lamps bc lampholder. The gallery and bc lampholder are modern replacements for safety reasons. Plug will be removed when dispatched to abide by the rules of the sale of secondhand electrical goods. This is a rare chance to aquire a great ART DECO lamp. They dont come around every day.
