NO POLISHING, JUST PROFESSIONAL CLEANING. I HAD TO COMPLETELY REWIRE THE LAMP AND. CH ANGE THE INSIDES OF THE ORIGINAL LAMP CIRCUITS FOR SAFETY. COVERED CORD WAS USED TO LEAVE AS MUCH AUTHENTIC OLD SPIRIT IN THE LAMPS APPEARANCE. I ALSO LEFT THE OLD PLUG IN SHELL FOR THAT MATTER(PIC #12).
